Turn left, no turn right, are you sure we are on the right street? These we just some of the questions that we faced as we did the Student Council fund-raiser. It was about a 2-hour walk as we walked up and down Kitchener’s many twisting streets, passing on to familiar streets only to go down yet another side road, which would twist us in yet was seemed like another direction. It started as we gathered at about 1:30 PM and head out around 2:00 PM, the last group would trickle back sometime after 4. It definitely was a fun time as just being out, together with people kinda [sic] forces you to actually talk to them. I have to give credit to the first group back because they actually ran the entire length of the walk, while others like I did exactly what the name suggested. We Walked Around Wednesday Afternoon. It was a good afternoon, the rain held off and we raise money for the school, and the Oasis drop in centre.
